Online Notary in West Virginia
Need a document notarized in West Virginia without hunting for a notary? With remote online notarization you meet a commissioned notary over live video and get your document notarized in minutes. Every Jurably filing includes that session; when a signer won’t go online, a mobile notary is the in-person alternative.
How online notarization works in West Virginia
Remote online notarization is authorized in West Virginia and most U.S. states. You upload your document, verify your identity through credential analysis and knowledge-based authentication, and appear before a commissioned notary by two-way video. The notary witnesses your signature and applies an electronic notarial seal, with the session recorded to a secure audit trail.
It works for a wide range of documents — affidavits, powers of attorney, and many real-estate instruments (subject to each county's acceptance of electronic records). When a signer can't or won't go online, a mobile notary meets them in person instead.
Then we handle the filing
Unlike a plain notary app, Jurably doesn't stop at the seal. When you file a memorandum of contract or its release through Jurably, the online notary session is part of the filing and we record the document in the right West Virginia county and return the recorded instrument.
