Recording
e-Recording
Also called: Electronic Recording · eRecording
Submitting documents to a county recorder electronically instead of by mail or in person.
What is a e-recording?
e-Recording lets an authorized submitter send a document to the county recorder through an approved electronic network — such as Simplifile, CSC, or ePN — so it is examined, stamped, and returned digitally, often the same or next business day.
Not every county accepts e-recording, and many limit who may submit electronically, so documents that cannot be e-recorded are handled on the paper rail by mail. Jurably routes each filing to whichever rail the county supports.
e-Recording is faster and cleaner than mailing paper, which is why it is the preferred path where available.
We handle the paperwork end-to-end — you never touch a courthouse.
